Episode 2: Loveless Asia

"Nothing grows from neutral."

That quote is going to resonate by the time you finish our latest video portrait with Loveless Asia.

I thought I knew Asia pretty well before we sat down for this conversation.

I should've known better 😆.

Asia is a scientist, mother, Oakland native, nerd, and easily one of the most interesting people I've ever met. She's also nearly impossible to put in a box—which is probably why our conversations have led to some wild places.

That's pretty much what happened here (I'll definitely have to post some bonus content soon, because there were too many good stories to cram into one video).

We sat down to talk about the story behind her Loveless tattoo and why she connects so deeply with Harley Quinn.

Somehow, by the end of it, Asia had me questioning the way I think about balance, growth, and why a little chaos might actually be necessary.

At one point, I literally had Milly point the camera to show my reaction.

You'll see why.
